
Child development involves biological, psychological and emotional changes that occur in humans starting from the birth till end of adolescence. These developmental changes may be strongly influenced by genetic factors and events during prenatal life. Developmental change may occur because of maturation, or as a result of environmental factors and learning, but most commonly involves an interaction between the two. Development of baby involves learning process of memorizing, language, thinking and reasoning. Baby learns to recognize sound of people surrounding them. During this stage, baby also develops bonding of love and trust with other humans. The way parents cuddle, hold, and play with baby that sets the basis for how baby will interact with world and develop their mind. The early you start stimulating your baby's senses early he/she will learn thing surrounding. This encourages your baby to learn and develop faster. Here are some of the things that I started with my daughter and found very effective. Talk: Talk to your baby regularly. Talk to your baby like he/she is an adult and understand your language. Try to avoid speaking in a sing-song manner. This is natural that child learns to speak in manner they are spoken to, and if you speak to him/her like an adult, he/she will pick up the language a lot faster. Walk: Encourage your baby to start walking by letting him/her stand holding on to things that are present in your room like bed, table or any other furniture. To encourage him/her you can keep a favorite toy on the bed, and encourage him/her to reach for it. Keep in mind children need stimulation and encouragement, but not force. Food: You will find lot of advice on what to give and what not to give to your baby but in early stage your baby develop taste buds so give him/her things that he like and try to develop habit of taking things that he/she may not like. Some baby like sugar and some like salty but it is parent responsibility to give balanced diet that include liquid and solid.
